Meet the rest of the team and see what we’re all about.

How many students will I be working with?

Each tutor works with at least 8 weekly students to ensure stability and income consistency. This helps you build rhythm, rapport, and real teaching depth — while maximising the return on your prep time.

Do I have to find my own students?

Never. We handle all marketing, screening, enrolment, and payment before you meet the student. You simply run a short 30-minute trial once they’re confirmed to ensure it’s a great match.

How is pay decided?

We have three seniority tiers — Graduate, Senior, and Expert Tutor. Hourly rates are based on the tutor’s experience and we increase the rates every year,promoting our tutors quickly. Long-term tutors (12+ hrs/week, 2+ years) also receive bonuses!

Where will I be teaching?

Teaching will be completed either at our office or online via our platform. You’ll have access to our CBD or Kew offices, perfect for back-to-back lessons, coffee breaks and team chat-ups.

What support will I get?

Everything you need and nothing you don’t. To support teaching and lesson planning, we provide you with a whole suite of high-quality proprietary resources, including done-for-you text analysis, Google Docs modules and 100-page lesson slides for each Year 12 text, textbooks and raw-50 sample essays.

Operationally, we handle everything from customer acquisition to content creation and payment. We screen and speak to every student coming in, connect with them and learn everything we need to know about them to ensure they are a good fit before matching them with you. We fiercely advocate for our tutors too, avoiding the “24/7 tutor support available” or “unlimited marking” claims at all cost.
