Katherine Huang

Hi everyone! My name is Katherine and I am studying medicine at Monash University. Whilst I’m passionate about my current studies, my heart lies with the books and all the imaginative analyses that come along with them. I graduated with a perfect score and received the English Premier’s Award. I understand how overwhelming it may be to juggle English with your other VCE subjects. Having experienced the ups and downs myself, I am confident that with my experience along with LVCET’s expertise, you will be in for a fun and supportive journey.
You do not need to be a book-nerd to master the art of English, nor do you need to know the entire thesaurus front-to-back. I believe that a dedication to crafting a genuine, authentic and nuanced essay is key to resonating deeply with the examiners’ hearts. And that is my ultimate goal in working with my students. Outside of my studies, I enjoy spending my time outdoors, frolicking in the grass, riding waves, climbing rocks – you name it. Wherever you are in your journey, I am excited to lend a helping hand along the way!
