I have always been deeply passionate about English, which helped me last year in achieving a perfect score in the subject, as well as a 48 in Literature. I am now keen on sharing with my students this energy to aid them in bringing out their best work. I enjoy working closely with them to unpack ideas and language in a way that distinguishes them from their peers, observing and analysing nuance. I have a strong debating and public speaking background, enabling me to communicate with clarity in discussions and through feedback. Though grades are very important, I also hope to be able to infuse a love of English into my students. I believe their best work is created when they can place a part of themselves in their writing, and this subject certainly rewards such engagement.
